Mound of Chan da Cruz 11

Description:
Measurements of mound: 19m (N-S); 9m (W - to centre of mound approx.); 1.30m in height. Mound substantially covered in scrub vegetation (gorse, bracken, brambles) and pine trees, especially in its eastern part. There is a large circular central hole of “recent manufacture” as the red colour soil of the mound is still visible, along with some stones pertaining to a possible mantle. The measurements of the hole are: 1.50m (N-S) by 1.80m (E-W) and 0.50m deep. In the NE part of the mound there is another alteration resulting in a loss of mound material (this also appears to be recent), as well as a dirt track located at the northern end of the site.
