AVarious fragments (around 21) of plain pottery, some of which are clearly prehistoric (Bronze Age?), were found on both sides of the road.
The discoveries were found over a linear area of approximately 40m length, to the west of the football field, and not where there was a previous reference to a spread containing Beaker and plain pottery found just in front of the sports ground (ALVAREZ GARCIA, Mª C.- 1988).
However it has to be highlighted that the existing cuttings could not be reviewed clearly as they are covered with vegetation and moss. The entire area is an ideal location for an open air prehistoric settlement: land oriented to the south and a water course. It is also located in close proximity to the mound sites of Coto da Arca and Chan da Cruz.
